Denzel Washington, the man with the perfect smile and flashing eyes, and enough charisma to make the ladies swoon for at least the last two generations, turns 57 today!
The “Training Day” star continues to make major moves in the Hollywood, set to star in two movies in 2012, Safe House and Flight, and is also landed the starring role in a TV-to-screen adaptation of the 80s classic, Equalizer.
Besides being an actor, producer and screenwriter, Washington is also known for his philanthropic work, specifically his long-standing support the Boys And Girls Club. He has long advocated for the organization, crediting it with helping him to navigate his youth. He also gifted $2.25 million to the Fordham University theater department.
Denzel and his beautiful wife, Pauletta Pearson Washington, have been married for 28 years and have four children.
