SOME COLLEGE PRESIDENTS MAKE MORE THAN PRESIDENT OBAMA

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In these challenging times during the U.S. recession, college presidents know they should be ashamed of themselves for carrying anything near a seven figure salary.

     Although, on an ordinary day we might be patting our sister, Shirley Ann Jackson, president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, for topping the charts of college compensation last year at a whopping $1,598,247.

     According to College Board, the average college costs for the 2009-2010 school year range from public four-year college education at $7,020 to a private four-year college at $26,273 both up 6.5 and 4.4 percent from last year, respectively.
