The Harlem Globetrotters will once again star in an animated television series thanks to a new licensing and production partnership with the Cookie Jar Group, a Toronto-based company that has become the traveling team's global licensing agent.
The sports/entertainment property was last in make-believe form in 1971 and '72, when Hanna-Barbera Prods produced an animated series for CBS' Saturday morning cartoon slate.
